Friends of Williamston Parks - Neighbors working together for a better Community.
There are many volunteer opportunities for community members of all ages. We have special fundraising events, park clean up days, and board service opportunities. Make a difference in your community and enhance the quality of life of those around you by:
- Help with a fundraising event.
- Pitch in at our annual Park Clean-up Day.
- Follow us on Facebook and share our good news.
- Attend a FOWP planning meeting and provide input.
- Encourage your family to take care of our parks by picking up trash.
- Report any broken playground equipment or items of concern.
- Make a donation.

The Friends of Williamston Parks needs your financial support. Funds raised are dedicated to annual park maintenance and will be used to fund the new play structures planned for Volunteers Community Park, next to The Commons at the corner of Putnam and School streets.
Or mail a check made out to the Williamston Area Beautification Fund/FOWP to P.O. Box 116, Williamston, MI 48895. The Williamston Area Beautification Fund (WABF) is the non-profit parent organization of the Friends of Williamston Parks. All funds donated to the FOWP through the WABF is used only for FOWP projects. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
