Our History

Formed in 2015, the Friends of Williamston Parks (FOWP) began as a partnership between the Williamston Area Beautification Fund (WABF), Williamston Kiwanis, Williamston Rotary and the City of Williamston to plan, fund, and implement local park improvements.

FOWP is considered a part of WABF, which is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) designed to address the charitable needs of the Greater Williamston community, including the advancement of education, cultural and humanitarian interests; enhancement of the arts and humanities; beautification of grounds, parks and facilities; and environmental issue.
